CREATIVE TECHNOLOGISTS, EARTH CITIZENS
We are engineers, artists, humanists, sociologists, technologist. We are humans, citizens of Earth and eager to apply tech4good. We believe in the power of the collective intelligence to solve our global challenges and know that beauty, hope, art and inspiration can have a lasting effect on our societies. We work on projects touching serious topics, and we do it with a light heart, to connect fellow Earth citizens.
Meet Our Team
The whole is much more than the sum of it’s part. Meet our team!

GaiaViz provides insight to harmonize civilization with the biosphere
Inspiration
It is initially inspired by Tom Van Sant (Geosphere Project) and Buckminster Fuller’s Spaceship Earth / World Games, but has grown into a more modern vision and focused not just on the technical problem, but also the social one of how do we all work together. Now the technology is ready for it, we aimed to create such places, for small groups to cities, to global organizations.
Goal
Our goal is to create a collaborative system that everyone can use and participate in decision making, from the micro household level up to macro transnational organizations.
We would like to visualize all of this data combined, to provide a holistic view helping to show what the political, commercial and other complex system dynamics are in future planning, community resilience:
- energy infrastructure
- trade data are of significant interest with environmental (DataONE, for example)
- economic and social data (US AID, UN SDG’s, EU Open Data…).
- disaster climate modeling, showing past, current and likelihood of future disasters throughout the entire world.
Visualizing complex systems in realtime
Our unique solution is strong 14 years of development through various governmental and academic grants and with tried-and-trued results. Our core visualization engine offers a cognitive-friendly and performant 3D data-visualization engine capable of outstanding performance.
Control rooms are a common practice for infrastructure. Such rooms are an area of interest as not only do we get to visualize complex systems in realtime, but it also allows us to implement our most advanced hardware. That is tactile control surfaces (knobs, buttons, dials, sliders, etc.) and display systems (glassless VR, projection walls, etc.)

Our Values
Creativity & curiosity
We don’t just stay up to date with our sector, we constantly explore everything.
Personality
When working together, it’s not only execution, we lead projects with heart, passion and personality in our work.
Open Source
Just like open minds help in life, open source helps in code! All our core engine is available on this GitHub repo.
Long-term thinking
We stand for a partnership over one-shot projects, and we work to create future proof technology and solutions.
